Fulton Police Department Participates In DEA Prescription Drug Take Back

Help prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding your homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. On Saturday, September 26, 2015, from 10 AM to 2 PM, the Fulton Police Department will participate with the Drug Enforcement Administration's National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Bring your unused or expired pills for disposal to the Fulton Police Department located at 141 South First Street. (The DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches.) The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

The Fulton Police Department has recently become a participating agency with Project Lifesaver.  Project Lifesaver's mission is to help "provide rapid response to save lives and reduce potential for serious injury for adults and children who wander due to Alzheimer’s, autism, Down syndrome, dementia and other related cognitive conditions."  Project Lifesaver provides equipment, training, certification and support to law enforcement, public safety organizations and community groups throughout the country and nation.
